Job Summary

The Route Sales Representative is responsible for meeting customer needs through up-selling and cross-selling, while providing superior customer service. The role involves actively participating in promotions, training, and audits, and ensuring customer loyalty and retention.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Solicit new customers and ensure a profitable product mix.
  2. Actively participate in promotions and contests, training, and audits.
  3. Follow company policies and procedures regarding customer needs and service.
  4. Ensure timely and correct deliveries of complete textile loads.
  5. Monitor and report competitive activity.
Requirements
  1. Valid driver's license and CDL when applicable.
  2. Excellent skills in customer service and route sales.
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  4. Ability to comprehend and follow direction.
  5. Good time management skills and team player.
Education

High School graduation or similar experience.

Travel Requirements

Daily, by delivery vehicle within a route.

Typical Environmental Conditions

Operating vehicles on public roads, in and out of customer locations, loading areas of a typical industrial laundry facility, Service Center or depot.

Typical Physical Activity

Physical Demands - sitting, grasping, driving, stooping, climbing stairs, moving carts up to 500 lbs, lifting up to 75 lbs, standing, walking, writing, speaking, hearing.
