Job Description:

Adecco Italia SPA is seeking a Merchandise Receiver for a leading company in the gardening and DIY sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:

Receiving and inspecting merchandise shipments
Verifying the integrity of pallets and checking for any damage or deterioration
Checking individual products within the pallet to ensure they are saleable
Verifying the shipping documents and ensuring that the products match the order
Preparing merchandise for storage in the warehouse
Preparing and organizing merchandise for returns to couriers

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a retail environment
Ability to work in a team and provide excellent customer service
Possession of a valid driving license (B category) and a forklift license

Working Conditions:

Full-time position, 6 months contract
Working hours: Monday to Sunday, daytime shifts
