Role Overview:

The Software Project Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of software projects, ensuring alignment with project milestones and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate software development projects, focusing on design adaptation and optimization.
  • Develop comprehensive software timelines derived from project milestones.
  • Implement technical solutions for critical software topics within cross-functional teams to meet specifications and cost-efficiency goals.
  • Prepare and present reports on software scopes and project progress to relevant departments, acting as the liaison between software projects and specialist teams.
  • Oversee the release of software products.
  • Monitor software requirements and track project advancement.
  • Ensure software quality and compliance with requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in systems, functional, or software development, with a background in project management, ideally within the automotive sector.
  • Strong understanding of control unit calibration and vehicle electrical systems.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of German is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with essential tools in automotive product development (e.g., INCA, VECTOR suite, IBM Doors, Jira).
  • Understanding of V-model methodology and processes is a plus.
  • Knowledge of automotive communication protocols.
  • Automotive SPICE certification is mandatory.
  • Valid Driver's License B is required.
