Embedded Electronics Engineer



Job Summary:

We are seeking an Embedded Electronics Engineer to join our R&D Software and Electronics Development department based in Bussolengo, Italy.



Responsibilities:

  2. Identify and/or verify Electronics and Firmware solutions' implementation of the technical requirements.
  3. Test prototypes of Electronics and Firmware solutions' implementation.
  4. Share technical solutions with the relevant company functions and professionals in the medical industry.
  5. Support and translate in technical requirements the user's needs involving the relevant stakeholders.
  6. Support the development of patent strategy about products.
  7. Coordinate, collaborate, and verify R&D specific teams' activity and outsourced services on defined tasks and projects.
  8. Develop test plans and protocols supporting testing activity of prototypes and bug fixing.
  9. Oversee first uses of the designed products, workshop/cadaver lab, and surgery (if applicable) to ensure they perform and function according to specifications.
  10. Support product certification in compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines.
  11. Support product's manufacturing suppliers' selection and design transfer activities.
  12. Evaluate and test competitor products to find out opportunities for new products or enhancements of existing products.


Requirements:

  2. Master's degree in relevant fields.
  3. 3+ years experience relevant to the position.
  4. Fluent English knowledge and other languages would be appreciated.
  5. Previous working experience in a regulated device industry or in a structured company is considered a plus.
  6. Motivation/passion to develop Medical Devices is a plus.
  7. Knowledge of Agile – Scrum is a plus.
