We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at UCI Health. As a Registered Nurse in our GI Lab/Recovery Unit, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our department.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication.
- Utilize the nursing process to identify and address patient needs, promoting a culture of patient-centered care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical procedures, equipment, and disease processes to provide evidence-based care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.
- Current CA RN license and CPR certification.
- Knowledge of growth and development over the life span and dysrhythmias.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms.
