About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Demand Planner to join our team at De' Longhi Appliances S.r.l. as a key member of our Supply Chain department.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Forecasting and Demand Planning: Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts for European markets, taking into account sales trends, promotions, and product availability.
  2. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Commercial, Controlling, and Supply Chain, to ensure alignment on logistics forecasts and financial targets.
  3. Forecast Quality and Improvement: Analyze and report on forecast quality metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  4. Out-of-Stock Analysis and Prevention: Conduct root cause analysis to prevent stockouts, leveraging supply parameters, forecasting, and Amazon tools.
  5. Supply Chain Optimization: Support the definition of supply parameters to guide stock levels, collaborating with stakeholders to identify sales opportunities.
  6. Availability and Inventory Management: Monitor and report on stock availability, highlighting critical issues to the Group Fulfilment team and Amazon Key Account Managers.
Requirements:
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or equivalent.
  2. Experience: 3+ years of experience in demand planning or a related field, preferably in a structured and moderately organized environment.
  3. Skills: Numerate with strong IT skills, especially in SAP and Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills; commercial awareness; strong analytical background.
Desirable Skills:
  1. SAP IBP Experience: Familiarity with SAP IBP is a plus.
  2. Teamwork and Communication: Strong team working attitude, active and persuasive approach to problem-solving, and excellent communication skills.
  3. Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: High problem-solving capability, accuracy in meeting deadlines and targets, and result-oriented mindset.
