Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our flavour production facility in Mozzo, near Bergamo. As a Project Engineer, you will lead and support various projects, ranging from plant process improvements to new product launches, EHS improvements, and capital projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create capital proposals, including scope documents, cost estimates, and timelines.
  • Develop detailed project specifications, including process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation drawings, and other project documentation.
  • Lead the bid process and selection of contractors/vendors.
  • Conduct feasibility studies for new or existing systems.
  • Establish project plans, including considerations around timeline, plant tie-ins, and project team requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with contractors, plant personnel, peers, and management.
  • Manage and coordinate project activities to ensure successful project execution.
Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Chemical Engineering, or related subject.
  • Junior to mid-level experience in a similar position within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Project Management Process Improvement best practice tools and techniques.
  • Experience with justifying and implementing capital projects.
  • Excellent design problem-solving skills and understanding of root cause analysis.
  • Proven track record of building solid working relationships and managing stakeholders.
  • Strong computer skills in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient in CAD or able to interpret CAD drawings for electrical, mechanical, and facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental regulation.
