About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Environmental Health Specialist to join our team at Amazon Italia Transport Srl. As a key member of our Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) team, you will play a crucial role in driving improvements in our sites and ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage health and safety standards and programs to ensure compliance with Amazon's policies and local regulations.
  • Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to analyze data reports and identify root causes of safety-related issues.
  • Provide guidance and support for health and safety projects and policies, and drive programs to improve technical equipment specifications and designs.
  • Travel within the covered region to conduct site visits and inspections.
Requirements
  • Education to a degree level and ASPP or RSPP certification.
  • Professional training in a technical profession, preferably mechatronics or electrics.
  • Relevant experience managing projects and complying with local Health and Safety legislation.
  • Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and Italian.
