About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our Sales and Marketing Performance Materials team in Filago, Italy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and managing sales strategies to grow our market share.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiate contracts, prices, and payment terms with customers
  • Create and monitor sales and sales target figures
  • Ensure digital transformation of activities in customer relationships
  • Conduct market research and analysis to consolidate market position
  • Work closely with local sales organization and HQ to create short- and long-term strategies
  • Project work, introduction, and information about new products
  • Supply Chain Optimization
  • Preparation of Budget and Forecast to ensure proper demand planning
  • Visiting trade fairs and conferences
  • Acquisition of new customers and implementation of new projects
  • Creation of customer and market strategies as well as case studies in cooperation with HQ
  • Implementation of our circular economy vision
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemicals or commercial/technical field
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluency in English and Italian
  • Knowledge of German a plus
  • Flexible mindset and ability to work with diverse stakeholders
  • Perseverant, well-organized, and energetic driver
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Willingsness to travel as required
