At SKF, we are embarking on a new strategic journey in our Industrial Region EMEA. Our small and international legal team works closely integrated to the business, providing legal advice of strategic and legal significance.

You could be our next key player in this dynamic environment, contributing to achieving our overall strategic goals as a Senior Legal Professional. Responsibilities will include providing legal support on a wide range of matters, from day-to-day operational tasks to complex international business transactions. You will have a crucial role in developing strategic legal tools and frameworks and providing expert legal advice relating to the core activities of the business area.

The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience working in a reputable law firm and/or as an in-house counsel in an international industrial company. A strong background in commercial law, M&A, intellectual property law, and/or anti-trust law is essential. Ability to handle all kinds of legal matters internationally and/or of complex nature is also required. Additionally, you should have an in-depth understanding and interest in business strategy and technical context, as well as excellent organization and time management skills. Fluency in English is a must.

Job Description:
• Provide legal advice and support on various legal matters, including commercial contracts, M&A, software licenses, commercial disputes, cross-border projects, and compliance matters.
• Independently draft, review, and negotiate agreements of global and strategic importance.
• Establish and implement legal standards in compliance areas, including growing regulatory areas such as information security and ESG.
• Proactively and efficiently advise senior business stakeholders.
• Cooperate with other functions to foresee and protect the company against legal and compliance risks.

Requirements:
• Over 7 years of experience working in a reputable law firm and/or as an in-house counsel in an international industrial company.
• Strong background in commercial law, M&A, intellectual property law, and/or anti-trust law.
• Ability to handle all kinds of legal matters internationally and/or of complex nature.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Fluency in English.
