Job Title: Physical Metals Trader

Redstone Commodity Search is seeking a skilled Physical Metals Trader to join our team in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Source and sell metal physical commodities
  • Build and nurture customer and supplier relationships
  • Negotiate logistics and financing with suppliers
  • Attend client meetings and industry events (20% travel)
  • Develop commercial proposals considering competition and market dynamics
  • Oversee operations, including logistics, LC, import/export
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years physical trading experience; 8 years preferred
  • Experience in base metals or concentrates
  • Comfortable with risk and change, decisive in decision-making
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Understanding of the fundamentals of metals trading
