Position Overview

Kyndryl is seeking a seasoned Cloud Architect with expertise in Azure cloud infrastructure to become a vital part of our expanding IT division. The ideal candidate will possess robust skills in the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-level cloud solutions utilizing Azure technologies.
You will be accountable for the overall success of the technical solution, overseeing its construction, implementation, and system integration within a specific technology, industry, or business domain.
Your role will involve delivering innovative and intricate high-quality solutions to clients, tailored to meet diverse business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architecting cloud solutions on Azure for production environments, ensuring high reliability, scalability, and security.
  • Conducting technical evaluations and formulating cloud management architectures and reference models.
  • Identifying security and compliance frameworks to guarantee data protection and privacy.
  • Employing agile methodologies for software and project lifecycle management.
  • Collaborating with Development and Infrastructure teams to manage DevOps and CI/CD tools.

Candidate Profile

  • Proficient in both Italian and English.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in designing cloud solutions on Azure.
  • Practical experience in building and designing landing zones and associated Cloud Native Services (networking, monitoring, backup).
  • Experience in cloud transformation strategies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
  • Advanced knowledge of Azure services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS, ELB/ALB, Route53, VPC.
  • Capable of ensuring cloud environment security by defining Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies.
  • Proficient in container architectures including Kubernetes, EKS, and Docker.
  • Familiarity with shell scripting and network automation tools like Terraform and Ansible.
  • Experience in managing both on-premises and cloud data centers using tools such as Terraform.
  • Proficient in software lifecycle management tools such as Jira, Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Confluence.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction and results.
  • Azure: Solution Architect Associate/Professional Certification is preferred.
