Main Responsibilities:
As a Project Engineer at HSL srl, you will be responsible for managing operationally and functionally the projects assigned to you. This includes managing OEM/OES projects, which involve components and systems with known technology components. You will be responsible for achieving project KPIs in terms of profitability, quality, and production preparation.
Key Activities:
- Manage project resources and control them effectively.
- Solve project issues requiring support from various functions via the project escalation process.
- Define and manage your budget, including the budget for projects within your system.
- Manage customer relationships (local and central) and coordinate communication within your team.
Desired Skills and Experience:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Knowledge of engineering design for automotive lighting components.
- Financial skills related to product cost structure and payback.
- Knowledge of global lighting regulations.
- Product development process knowledge and practice.
- A Master's Degree in Engineering Sciences (Electrical, Mechanics, Optics).
- At least 10 years of experience in automotive exterior lighting and its applications.
- Proficiency in CAD systems, such as CATIA V5.
- Knowledge and experience of the vehicle development process.
- Office 365 skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for the automotive industry.
Language Requirements:
Fluency in English is mandatory, and knowledge of Italian and/or German is a plus.
Location:
The location can be agreed upon considering the candidate's needs, profile, and experience.
