We are seeking a passionate and experienced Mandarin language educator to lead an after-school activity for our students at the International School of Rimini.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment that fosters language acquisition and cultural appreciation. The ideal candidate will have native or near-native proficiency in Mandarin, relevant teaching certification or qualification in language instruction, and experience teaching Mandarin to children.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver engaging Mandarin lessons for students of varying ages and proficiency levels.
- Create a curriculum that focuses on language skills, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
- Incorporate cultural elements into lessons to enhance students' understanding of the Chinese language and traditions.
- Monitor and assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback to support their learning.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding students' progress and program activities.
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience.
- Native or near-native proficiency in Mandarin.
- Relevant teaching certification or qualification in language instruction.
- Experience teaching Mandarin to children.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
