Job Title: Global Mobility Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Mobility Specialist to join our team at ABB. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing international assignments and providing support to the Global Mobility strategy across the globe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the assignment process for a wide population of assignees in-line with ABB's Global Mobility policies and philosophy.
  • Act as a case manager who is the single point of contact for the assignee and family to provide advice in the end-to-end management of their individual assignment within the ABB Group.
  • Briefing assignees on the conditions of the assignment package and provide support on understanding of the terms of the mobility policy and any related benefits.
  • Providing advice, guidance, and support to the assignee on all matters relating to their tax, immigration, and legal requirements regarding the assignment.
  • Liaising with HR Business partner and relevant business line to coordinate assignment move process.
  • Ensuring that global SSCs produce all assignment-related paperwork and support documentation.
  • Ensuring that third-party providers are instructed by SSC to the assignment process; this could include suppliers for: tax; immigration; destination services; cultural training and move services.
  • Supporting counterparts in the Global Mobility Function worldwide in managing assignments. Facilitation assignment life cycle. Working with Key Account Managers to provide updates on assignment status.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of HR experience preferably managing global mobility matters.
  • Good IT skills and the ability to manipulate data to report on trends and common themes.
  • Ability to maintain relationships in the business at varying levels of seniority.
  • Good communication skills and be able to interact with people of different cultures and nationalities.
  • Enjoy providing an analysis of information and trends back to the business.
  • Good organizational, planning, and decision-making skills.
  • At ease communicating in English, additional languages preferable.
