About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Android Software Development Expert to join our team at TheFork. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our Android app.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-quality Android apps using Kotlin and other relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and QA engineers, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of new features.
  • Develop and maintain unit and integrated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our app.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Android development trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our app's architecture and performance.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in Android development, with a strong focus on Kotlin.
  • Experience with Clean Architecture and SOLID principles.
  • Ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git.
  • Strong understanding of software development best practices and coding standards.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Jetpack Compose, GraphQL APIs, RxJava, or Dagger2.
  • Experience working with remote teams and collaborating with distributed teams.
  • Knowledge of other programming languages, such as Java or Swift.
