Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner responsible for managing and enhancing our WHMCS platform with a strong focus on consolidation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with WHMCS, a solid understanding of hosting and billing automation, and a strategic mindset for unifying functionalities and legacy platforms.

Main Responsibilities

  • Define High-Level Release Plans
    • Schedule major milestones and ensure timely completion.
  • Analyze and Prioritize Requirements
    • Document and prioritize requirements based on input from stakeholders.
  • Maintain and Prioritize the Product Backlog
    • Ensure the product backlog reflects the latest priorities and aligns with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with Development Teams
    • Work closely with development teams and stakeholders to define user stories, acceptance criteria, and other relevant documentation.
  • Act as Primary Point of Contact
    • Provide regular updates and gather feedback to inform future iterations.
  • Monitor Key Metrics and Feedback
    • Identify areas for improvement, scaling, and automation.
  • Provide Training and Support
    • Train internal teams on new functionalities and ensure seamless adoption.

Requirements

  • Proven Experience
    • Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role, preferably within the domains & hosting industry.
  • WHMCS Expertise
    • Extensive experience with WHMCS and a strong understanding of its capabilities and limitations.
  • Agile Methodologies
    • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex ideas.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate business needs into actionable requirements.
  • Prioritization and Time Management
    • Ability to prioritize effectively and manage time to meet deadlines.
  • Technical Background
    • Technical background is preferred, with a strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Education and Certifications
    • BS Computer Science or Engineering is preferred, and certification as a Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar Agile certification is a plus.
  • Language Skills
    • Fluent English is required.
