We are seeking a skilled Workshop Operator to join our Manufacturing Centre of Excellence in Florence. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for performing machining activities, including turning and grinding, to ensure the highest quality of our products.

As a Workshop Operator, you will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about developing manufacturing technology and new products. You will work closely with our engineers and technicians to set up, monitor, and operate various pieces of equipment associated with the manufacturing facility requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out machining activities, including turning and grinding, to meet manufacturing specifications
  • Contribute to a safe working environment by promoting HSE practices and procedures
  • Assist colleagues in lifting activities and perform quality assurance activities as required
  • Participate in program testing and development of new manufacturing processes

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in turning or grinding activities, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse teams
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, and adapt to changing priorities
