Salary

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, for this Project Engineering Specialist position in Alba.

Job Description

The Project Engineering team at Ferrero is responsible for designing and executing industrial investment projects. As a Project Engineering Specialist, you will manage projects for semi-finished products machines and technologies. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Executing specification design activities and defining technical features.
  • Supporting the start-up of new machines and overseeing technology diffusion among plants.
  • Ensuring the transfer of know-how to the plant and meeting defined times, costs, and quality standards (e.g., service level) for each order.
Main Responsibilities

As a Project Engineering Specialist, your main tasks will include:

  • Executing industrial investment projects and acting as a technical point of reference during project execution, including safety-related matters.
  • Supervising post-implementation technical support activities of the machinery and acting as a contact point for the sourcing department.
  • Providing support in defining sourcing strategies, collecting and evaluating offers, and evaluating and selecting suppliers.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a Master's Degree in mechanical engineering or an equivalent qualification and ideally 3-5 years of work experience in the industrial sector. You should possess good communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Fluency in English and basic knowledge of Italian are essential. Regular international travel may be required for this position.
