Auditor Trainee

Job Title: Junior Auditor

About the Role:

GRS Recruitment is working with a well-established services firm to recruit a Junior Auditor / Audit Trainee. The successful candidate will contribute to the overall procedures of the Compliance department, reporting directly to the Compliance Officer.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct audit activities and implement audit procedures in line with the firm's audit methodology
• Plan, execute, and complete audits in accordance with IFRSs and ISAs
• Perform audit work for local and international clients
• Review and check all audit documentation
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Candidate Profile:

• Holder of a university degree with a background in accounting
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology considered as a plus
• Studying towards ACA / ACCA or willing to commence studying
• Background or knowledge in auditing and ISAs considered as an advantage
• Ability to work on a variety of engagements and tasks
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Critical thinking proficiency
• Integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
• Excellent command of English and Greek language (oral and written)
• Knowledge of Russian or Ukrainian language considered as an advantage
• Microsoft Office proficiency and computer literate
