Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Engineer to join our team at RAM Energy E&C S.r.l. in Florence or Guasticce. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing instrumentation systems for Oil & Gas projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop instrumentation engineering deliverables, including procurement specifications, instrument datasheets, and field wiring diagrams.
  • Perform preliminary sizing calculations for control and safety valves.
  • Review and provide input on engineering drawings, including instrument installation details and electric/pneumatic hook-ups.
  • Review vendor offers, prepare technical clarifications, and prepare technical bid evaluation reports.
  • Attend interface meetings with clients to provide technical support and update scope of work progress.
Requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Good English language skills, with the ability to produce fluent documents, reports, and technical notes.
  • General knowledge of rotating machinery, such as steam turbines, centrifugal compressors, and electric generators.
  • Experience using AutoCAD, Word, Excel, and AVEVA instrumentation application.
  • 2 years of experience in detailed engineering and design of instrumentation for Oil & Gas projects.
  • Familiarity with relevant international codes, standards, and recommended practices.
  • Degree in Electrical or Electronics discipline.
