Job Title: Product Assurance Manager

Job Summary:

Leonardo, a leading international industrial group, is seeking a Product Assurance Manager to join our team in Nerviano, Italy. As a Product Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products throughout their lifecycle, from design to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the review of offers and contracts;
  • Contribute to the definition of quality requirements for programs and projects;
  • Participate in the planning of programs and projects, including the development of quality plans and the definition of standards and regulations;
  • Verify the implementation of program and project plans;
  • Verify project documentation, including specifications and designs;
  • Participate in Design Reviews related to the Product Lifecycle (System Requirement Review, System Design Review, Preliminary Design Review, Critical Design Review, Test Readiness Review, Formal Qualification Review);
  • Participate in or conduct FCA/PCA;
  • Participate in audits (physical and functional) to be conducted before the closure of the SW baseline product;
  • Participate in software testing activities;
  • Participate in program and process audits;
  • Measure, throughout the Product Lifecycle, significant parameters that define the quality of the product;
  • Report to management on the analysis of measured results, both on the process and on the product;
  • Participate in the continuous improvement process (process improvement);
  • Participate in company-wide training activities for quality processes;

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (preferably engineering);
  • Expert level (3-5 years) of experience;
  • Good technical background to manage the Product Lifecycle;
  • Knowledge of standards DO 178 and DO 254;
  • Knowledge of quality management standards (ISO 9001, EN 9100) and basic training in auditing techniques within a quality management system (inspections);
  • Behavioral skills:
    • Ability to work in a team;
    • Ability to mediate and communicate;
    • Organized and systematic approach to problem analysis and synthesis (reporting);
  • Computer skills:
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Word and Excel;
    • Knowledge of requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS);

Additional Information:

  • Brief trips (a few days) in Italy and abroad, especially during final deliveries to the Client;
