Senior Automation Engineer

Adecco Italia spa is seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Engineer to join its Technical Automation Department in Piacenza. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing OT software for the management and control of robotic systems and industrial automation systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Define requirements and specifications for the development of robotic systems and their integration with external peripherals;
  • Develop software for the management of robotic systems;
  • Develop testing procedures for robotic systems;
  • Integrate robotic systems with supervisory logic for the plant;
  • Install and test robotic systems;
  • Provide technical support and training to clients on the use of robotic systems.
Requirements:
  • 5-7 years of experience in the field;
  • Advanced knowledge of robotic programming languages (e.g. FANUC, KUKA, ABB);
  • Advanced knowledge of PLC programming languages (e.g. Siemens, Beckhoff, B&R, KEBA);
  • Availability for 60 days of travel per year to clients in Italy and abroad;
  • Good reading and comprehension skills for electrical diagrams;
  • Familiarity with simulation platforms (RoboGuide, RobotStudio, VisualComponents);
  • Good knowledge of English, which will be consolidated during the work experience.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Automation Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering;
  • Direct insertion into the company and salary to be defined.
