Job Summary:

Volotea is seeking a skilled Unlicensed Mechanic VRN to support our certifying staff in various line maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out and verify work required by the operator during line maintenance activities in accordance with Volotea’s MOE procedures.
  • Perform rectification and troubleshooting of inbound defects and planned rectification of existing deferred defects.
  • Verify aircraft airworthiness and ensure release certificates and technical log statements are accurate.
  • Assist with technical issues and coordinate with Volotea’s Maintenance Control Center to minimize operational impact.
  • Manage and coordinate tooling and parts reception, storage, and shipment in compliance with EASA Part 145 requirements.

Requirements:

  • EASA Part 147 approved course or EASA Part 66 License without type rating.
  • Previous experience in aviation MRO environments, including line maintenance, maintenance control, or airline engineering.
  • Strong technical knowledge of aircraft systems and good communication skills.
  • Fluent English spoken and written, with French, Spanish, and Italian considered an asset.
  • Proactive and cooperative attitude, with self-discipline and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Working knowledge of computer systems and programs, including AMOS and Airbus World.
  • Willingness to work on 24/7 rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
