Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Supervisor to join our Çimsa Adriatico team in Trieste, Italy. As a Technical Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating the technical team, organizing work-shifts, and ensuring the efficient operation of our cement terminal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating the technical team and organizing their work-shifts
  • Coordinating vessel discharging activities as terminal representative
  • Conducting discharging operations of bulk materials from vessels using Van Aalst discharging pump
  • Loading/unloading bagged materials to/from trucks using forklifts
  • Supervising loading of bulk materials into silo-trucks
  • Planning production of bagged materials and conducting relevant operations
  • Operating forklifts and arranging for rotation/movement of stock materials within the warehouse
  • Inventory management and monitoring stock ageing
  • Verifying/coordinating the maintenance activities of all plants and machinery
  • Preparing implementing maintenance programs to prevent technical faults and ensure efficiency
  • Monitoring the periodical update of all maintenance registers and company's fulfilment of mandatory controls
  • Keeping control of a list of critical spare parts for maintenance purposes
  • Responsible on site for all aspects related to health safety at work

Requirements:

  • Graduated from High School
  • At least 10 years of experience
  • Work permits in Italy are mandatory
  • Fluent in Italian and English
  • Forklift Operator Certificate
  • Computer literate with good skills in MS Office (Excel, Word)
  • Having Health Safety Certificate is a plus
