Logistics Application Specialist

Job Description

D.B. Group Spa is seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Logistics Application Specialist

The successful candidate will be part of a project team responsible for requirements gathering, functional and technical analysis, design, implementation, and project management in the logistics field.

Responsibilities

• Collect requirements for the development of functional features and process evolution on the WMS systems in the logistics field
• Transform business requirements into technical requirements for the management of system evolutions in the logistics field
• Interface with suppliers for the development of new projects/interventions, for the applicative aspects of systems
• Evaluate the technical/economic feasibility of solutions proposed by suppliers
• Interface with various company departments involved (Infrastructure, Logistics, Business Units)
• Conduct project meetings to track progress and collect requirements
• Manage and monitor suppliers during the design and development phases of applicative projects
• Manage the activities of testing and passing to production of evolutionary interventions/new projects, supporting users in the execution of functional tests (coordinating suppliers, defining downtime windows, etc...)
• Verify the progress of corrective activities and evaluate the quality of proposed structural interventions

Requirements

• Prior experience in companies in the sector or in System Integration companies
• Laurea in technical/scientific disciplines (Engineering, Computer Science, etc.)
• Excellent knowledge of SQL
• Ability to analyze and solve problems
• Result-oriented and customer-focused
• Good knowledge of the English language
• Good knowledge of Office Automation tools
• Good knowledge of logistics processes and information systems
• Availability for international travel
