We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to take charge of our maintenance operations in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Maintenance Manager, you will play a vital role in our Maintenance Team and report directly to the General Maintenance Manager (GMM).

Your primary responsibilities will include:

Collaborating with the GMM to establish safe maintenance operations in accordance with company and industry health and safety standards. Assisting in the development of a comprehensive maintenance strategy, including budget formulation and financial oversight. Working alongside the customer’s management and relevant teams to devise and execute action plans aimed at achieving or surpassing operational targets. Overseeing daily maintenance activities and shutdown procedures, providing essential guidance and support to the team during routine operations and emergencies. Facilitating troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and effective problem resolution. Aiding planners in scheduling and modifying preventive maintenance tasks as necessary. Supporting the team during outages, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints and timely closure of work orders. Addressing personnel matters and fostering team development. Enhancing team capabilities and efficiency through targeted coaching and training initiatives.

Expectations:

To excel in this role, we anticipate that you will possess:

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant discipline. Over 5 years of experience in maintenance operations within the pulp, paper, or tissue sectors. Proficiency in both mechanical and automation systems. Valued experience in change management. Strong problem-solving skills. Expertise in team training and development. Essential financial, networking, and communication abilities. Competence in office systems and IT applications. Understanding of planning and scheduling fundamentals. Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
