Job Description

System Logistics is a global provider of innovative intra-logistics and material handling solutions for supply chain optimization in warehouses, distribution centers, and production facilities worldwide. Position

The successful candidate will be part of our AGV Business Line and report directly to the Electrical Engineering Manager. They will be responsible for completing AGV projects assigned to them, adhering to time, cost, and specifications agreed upon with the client and project management. They will manage system specification activities, electrical design, cabling, and resource coordination for AGV and stationary components, including integrated modules produced by third-party suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Mentor junior resources on Lean and Six Sigma methodologies;
  2. Supervise project teams;
  3. Analyze and understand functional requirements from client specifications and their interrelation during product development;
  4. Specify the HW part of the vehicle control system and stationary system, in collaboration with the SW Product department;
  5. Manage and address technical risks identified and find solutions to ensure results;
  6. Supervise PDP requirements during product development;
  7. Be the technical point of reference from project start to Bill Of Materials release for new or modified products;
  8. Transition products to production;
  9. Act as a PMI expert in case of technical issues (functional and reliability-related);
  10. Ensure that all technical results are available and activities are planned and completed within the scheduled timeframe;
  11. Collaborate with the Electrical Engineering Manager to achieve company objectives while respecting applicable regulations.
Requirements

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering.

Desired Skills and Experience
  1. At least 5 years of experience in the specific AGV environment; 7 years if from different sectors;
  2. Electrical design;
  3. Specific safety regulations for the AGV area (EN-ISO 3961-4);
  4. Software design tools (EPLAN, CreoPTC, WINDCHILL as PDM);
  5. Control system principles;
  6. Lean and Six Sigma methodologies;
  7. Green Belt certification;
  8. Product Modular Design experience;
  9. Good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken.
