Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance & Technical Service Manager to oversee our maintenance and technical operations. This role is crucial for ensuring minimal downtime through both reactive and proactive service strategies, while adhering to established procedures and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement optimal maintenance strategies to enhance plant reliability and productivity.
  • Plan and supervise all maintenance and technical activities effectively.
  • Create a preventive maintenance schedule and conduct periodic reviews based on fault analysis and its potential impact on operations.
  • Establish, implement, and manage key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Conduct daily and weekly performance assessments to ensure service delivery is up to standard.
  • Oversee the installation of new equipment and systems.
  • Ensure safe disposal of obsolete materials in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Manage external contractors and personnel effectively.
  • Ensure all operations comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
  • Promote awareness and compliance with Health and Safety standards among all personnel.
  • Maintain spare parts availability in line with the 5S program and quality procedures.

Continued Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with other departments to investigate equipment issues and determine root causes of non-conformities.
  • Ensure timely execution of quality verification activities on equipment and sites.
  • Provide technical assistance around the clock, throughout the year.
  • Work closely with Technical and Production departments to develop and implement solutions.
  • Prepare and submit management documentation punctually.
  • Monitor expenses and manage the budget effectively.
  • Guide and motivate staff to foster continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Enhance employee skills and motivation by assigning objectives and projects, while regularly reviewing performance.
  • Ensure personnel are adequately trained and equipped to meet business and customer needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Master's Degree in Engineering Management or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical skills.
  • Proven leadership abilities to manage team performance.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience in developing and monitoring KPIs.
  • Proficient in data processing.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
