Hardware Obsolescence Specialist

The Obsolescence Management Specialist will be responsible for analyzing and managing obsolete components and modules within the NAS Business Segment to ensure production continuity and customer support.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate the impact of End of Life (EOL) and Product Change Notification (PCN) on production
- Identify and propose alternative components, leveraging existing data libraries and searching for new parts with matching technical specifications
- Liaise with cross-functional teams to identify suitable solutions
- Contribute to the population and maintenance of the obsolescence database
- Track and monitor the status of corrective actions throughout the obsolescence management process
- Contribute to process improvements and analyze the Bill of Materials (BoM) to anticipate and address potential obsolescences
- Elaborate and monitor KPIs related to the obsolescence management process
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (ideally Electronic) or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience in electronic international companies as a component engineer or similar role
- Ability to interface with various stakeholders in an international company
- Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience in collecting, reviewing, and manipulating data
- Fluent spoken and written English
- IT savvy
- Open to challenges
