In-House Solicitor

We are seeking an experienced In-House Solicitor to join our Italian office in central Rome. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in an innovative and progressive environment, contributing to the development and success of our department.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage Real Estate negotiations, including options, agreements for lease, easements, and other related documents, for the assembly of large-scale solar and storage sites across Italy.
- Support the development team in corporate matters, including Share Purchase Agreements (SPAs), Development Service Agreements (DSAs), Framework Agreements (FAs), and negotiations with regional co-developers.
- Manage development funding obligations, including securing project finance and other funding arrangements.
- Collaborate with internal departments and stakeholders to provide legal support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with the in-house legal team in Dublin, ensuring a cohesive approach and maintaining high standards.
- Conduct legal research, assess risks, and provide recommendations related to project execution and compliance.
- Review project contracts, agreements, and related documents.
- Monitor project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure legal compliance.
- Experience in corporate transactions, including mergers & acquisitions, restructurings, and venture capital.
- Highly organized and efficient, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure deadlines are consistently met.
- Review and advise on commercial contracts, including letters of engagement and agreements with third-party suppliers.
- Manage and instruct external counsel.
- Fluency in Italian and English is essential, with excellent verbal communication and written technical legal vocabulary.
- 5+ years of strong post-qualification experience in a top-tier firm or in-house.
- Experience in energy, projects, financing, and corporate.
- Excellent drafting, communication, and organizational skills.
- A high level of motivation and a friendly manner to engage effectively with colleagues, external legal counsel, and key stakeholders.
- The ability to work proactively and within a team.
- A flexible approach to work.
