The Davines Group, a leading manufacturer of professional cosmetic products, is seeking a Sustainability Analyst to join its team. As a key member of the company's sustainability initiative, you will be responsible for analyzing the environmental impact of the company's products and packaging, with a focus on reducing waste and promoting eco-friendly practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze technical documents related to packaging design to identify materials and items with the lowest environmental impact
- Perform life cycle assessments (LCAs) of finished products to identify areas for improvement
- Manage sustainability data in the company's ERP system
- Develop and share periodic reports on packaging sustainability KPIs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sustainability initiatives
Requirements:
- Master's degree in a scientific field (e.g. environmental science, sustainability)
- Knowledge of packaging materials sustainability attributes and eco-design rules
- Experience with LCA software (Simapro preferred) and related certification schemes
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
