Principal Quality & Compliance

NTT DATA seeks a skilled Professional for the position of Principal Quality & Compliance. This role is part of our Italian Legal & Compliance Team and is responsible for all Quality, Information Security, Health & Safety, and compliance matters for the Italian Country.

The ideal candidate will be in charge of managing all internal and external auditing activities related to ISO9001/ISO27001, Health & Safety aspects, Privacy regulation (GDPR), Sustainability guidelines, and ex Legislative Decree 231/01 compliance. The candidate will implement locally global and Europe procedures considering the business needs and legislation in Italy.

The Principal Quality & Compliance role will act in local and multinational environments, collaborating with Italian Legal & Compliance Manager and Europe Governance Risk & Compliance stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement risk and compliance policy, principles, and procedures in the country, ensuring proactive risk and compliance management practices.
  2. Coordinate the implementation of group policies and procedures in the country.
  3. Manage periodic internal group reviews and external auditing provided by certification bodies.
  4. Conduct external reviews to third parties and clients.
  5. Conduct research on emerging compliance issues and review compliance-related documentation and contractual provisions concerning compliance issues.
  6. Provide information to ensure the onboarding of new employees and training material clarifying company policies and procedures.
  7. Provide regular reports on the status of risk and compliance issues being dealt with.
  8. Support the Responsible Safety Professional (RSPP) in providing Safety documents necessary to deliver technical activities in clients' premises.
  9. Conduct Health and Safety (H&S) Training for new hires.
  10. Monitor mandatory H&S training, asking for updates or additional training when necessary.
  11. Support Supervisory Bodies (OdV) activities.
  12. Manage mandatory documents according to the regulation EU 2016/679 - GDPR (e.g., client assessments and systems administration appointments).
  13. Assist in providing clients with all the data required to confirm that NTT systems are compliant with security rules.
  14. Support the Europe Information Security Officer as the local point of contact.
  15. Collaborate with the Europe Sustainability team in collecting and providing country data for Sustainability goals.
  16. Fill in clients' onboarding questionnaires regarding Sustainability, Security, Safety, and Quality matters.
  17. Drive all necessary steps required to onboard third parties aligned with compliance rules.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Economics, Law, or Management Engineering with a specialization in Quality, Assurance, and Regulatory affairs.
  • Solid experience in similar positions in IT/ICT companies.
  • Good knowledge of ISO9001 and ISO27001.
  • Knowledge of ex Legislative Decree 231/01 and D.lgs81/08.
  • Good risk management approach.
  • Proven experience in managing internal and external auditing.
  • Strong ability in analyzing and managing organizational processes.
  • RSPP role in previous experience (preferred).
  • Auditor certification (preferred).
  • Strong attitude to work effectively in teams.
  • Client focus orientation.
  • Innovation approach for continuous improvement.
  • Problem-solving approach.
  • Ability to communicate with C-levels.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Proficient in using MS Office.
