KUBA is a pioneering company dedicated to delivering innovative and efficient ticketing solutions to its customers. We are seeking a skilled Frontend Android Developer to join our dynamic team in the Engineering department in Rome.

Job Summary

This Android app developer will collaborate with our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications. The successful candidate will work closely with other app development and technical teams to deliver high-quality software applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop advanced applications for the Android platform
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
  • Work with external data sources and APIs
  • Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
  • Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience as a frontend Android Developer
  • Have published at least one original Android app
  • Experience with Android SDK
  • Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
  • Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
  • Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
  • Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Attention to details
  • Ability to work independently and be proactive
  • Good written and oral communication skills, with a working level of English (B2 or equivalent)
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and find effective solutions
  • Teamwork and collaboration with other departments
