Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Oversight: Oversee controlling activities for various banners within E-COM, including monthly closing, forecasting, budgeting, and ad hoc analysis.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with key business teams and maintain constant communication with the accounting and reporting team, sharing relevant information with the Global E-COM corporate team.
  • Trend Analysis and Insights: Understand critical trends in Net Sales and P&L lines, raise inquiries, address business challenges, and ensure key aspects are managed effectively to deliver desired outcomes.
Areas of Responsibility and Related Activities
  • Reporting Processes: Participate, support, and coordinate the implementation of reporting processes (Weekly Sales Report, P&L monthly closing, etc.).
  • Controlling Systems: Enhance and establish controlling systems, develop and monitor business performance metrics (e.g., aur, Traffic, Conversion Rate, etc.).
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze and benchmark financial performance, including margin and cost variance analysis.
  • Planning Processes: Engage in planning processes (Forecast, Budget, Multi-Year Plan) and provide business partners with ad hoc analysis.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify and communicate Risks & Opportunities along with mitigation strategies.
  • Monthly Operating Results: Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget, forecast, and prior year performance.
  • Financial Statement Accuracy: Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of regional financial statements with corporate standards and industry norms.
  • Departmental Goals: Set short- and long-term departmental goals, policies, and procedures.
  • Budget Insights: Deliver valuable budget insights to Business Leaders for cost management and informed decision-making.
  • Country Performance Reporting: Support country performance reporting processes through financial analysis and quality business materials to aid effective decision-making.

Required Technical Skills - Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Educational Background: University Degree in Economics or related fields
