Position Overview

Valiant Integrated Services is in search of proficient Linguists to deliver interpretation, transcription, and translation services that support various operational needs and mission objectives.

Work Locations: Multiple locations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute precise and consecutive translation, transcription, and interpretation from Hebrew to English.
  • Convert diverse syntax and expressions, including colloquial and slang phrases, between English and Hebrew.
  • Adapt to and operate in challenging environments.
  • Offer insights on the cultural and ethnic implications of statements, discussions, situations, and documents.
  • Thoroughly review, research, and evaluate foreign language documents.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Hebrew and English, with speaking and writing skills at Level 3/3 of the Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR); native proficiency is preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Hebrew culture, with prior experience in the region; native familiarity is preferred.
  • Proven experience in interpreting and translating Hebrew to English.
  • Capability to grasp the essence of all speech in standard dialects and vocabulary, with minimal need for paraphrasing or clarification.
  • Acquainted with local customs and culture, with the ability to engage effectively within the local community.
  • Must possess citizenship.
  • Clearance Required: Eligibility to obtain.
