Fater Spa is a leading company in the production and distribution of detergent products in Europe. With a strong commitment to innovation, sustainability, and cost efficiency, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Assistant Buyer - Direct Materials to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. As an Assistant Buyer, you will play a key role in our supply chain by supporting senior buyers in sourcing, contract management, and negotiations.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Strategic sourcing and scouting of suppliers to ensure quality, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness
• Contract management and negotiation with vendors to secure the best possible terms for the company
• Project coordination, especially those involving sustainability, innovation, and new product development
• Data analysis and reporting to support decision-making and cost-saving initiatives
• Relationship building and effective collaboration with internal stakeholders and external suppliers

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
• Up to 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or a related role
• High emotional intelligence, communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships
• Excellent analytical skills and comfort with numbers and data analysis
• Strong negotiation skills and a structured approach to managing multiple projects
• Fluency in English and Italian
