Wood is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Life Sciences division in Milan, working on Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology projects across Europe and internationally.

As a Technical Utilities Engineer, you will support the development of projects through all phases of the project life cycle, from basic design to commissioning.

  • Degree in mechanical engineering
  • At least 5 years of experience in Technical Utilities design of industrial projects of medium and large dimensions
  • Solid understanding of technical equipment, Boilers, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Refrigeration Systems, Waste Systems, and other utilities
  • Knowledge of design problems and issues related to fire protection systems
  • Knowledge of EU directives, PED, MD, and ATEX
  • Knowledge in HVAC design plant would be an advantage
  • Fluent Italian and English languages
