Job Title: Cybersecurity Specialist Senior

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist Senior to join our team at Igt. As a key member of our Security Operations team, you will be responsible for analyzing and investigating security alerts to identify threats and suspicious activities performed on our IT systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and investigate security alerts to identify threats and/or suspicious activities performed on IT systems and networks
  • Perform triage to categorize and assign the correct severity to alerts that need to be investigated
  • Understand the magnitude and impact of the event, forward the case to other teams
  • Perform continuous tuning of false positives
  • Produce periodic reporting about the managed events
  • Analyze in-depth the events associated with a security incident, identifying indicators of compromise (IOCs) and evaluating the attack magnitude
  • Execute activities for incident containment and service recovery
  • Oversee and configure security monitoring tools
  • Gather evidence of the incident and draft the Incident Report

Requirements:

  • Fluent English language skills (C1/C2 or English mother tongue)
  • Availability to work on shifts
  • Strong orientation to problem-solving
  • Good knowledge of main IT processes, in particular Security Operations processes and procedures
  • Good knowledge of Office tools (in particular Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Professional Experience/Seniority:

  • At least 2 years of experience in SOC and cybersecurity, preferably performed in an international environment
