About the Role


As a Proposal Development Specialist at Chart Cooler Svc Co Inc, you will play a crucial role in the development of technical offers that meet the needs of our clients in the Oil & Gas sectors and the Cryogenic sector.



Key Responsibilities



  • Sizing and technical definition of items to quote.
  • Identify alternative techniques solutions to increase the competitiveness of the offer.
  • Develop and provide the technical offer in all its contents, including supporting technical attachments as necessary.
  • Lead time and freight allocation.
  • Draw up the technical offer for approval by Product Management and Commercial Management.
  • Take charge of technical alignments required during the budgeting phase under the supervision of the Product Manager.
  • Take charge of negotiations requested during the budgeting phase.
  • Offer support to quotationists in technically evaluating offers and discussing technical aspects with subcontractors.


Requirements & Preferred Qualifications



  • Degree in Mechanical/Energy Engineering or equivalent background.
  • 2-3 years of previous working experience in international companies for similar positions.
  • Knowledge of basic quotation preparation.
  • Experience collaborating closely with cross-functional teams across Business Development, Engineering, and Product.
  • Demonstrated knowledge, at a proficiency level, of Italian/English languages, both written and spoken.
  • Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office.
  • Customer-focused and self-motivated with a great sense of urgency and follow-through.
  • Excellent writing skills, a technical and analytical mindset.
  • Comfortable communicating with, and gaining consensus from, internal leadership teams.
  • Ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
