Logistics Systems Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Systems Specialist to join our team at Kuehne + Nagel AS. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will have the opportunity to work on a critical project that will allow you to apply your technical expertise and provide innovative solutions to support our logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities- As the first point of contact for local information systems, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing functional logistics requirements from external and internal customers.
- You will supervise and monitor the proper functioning of information systems and run constant maintenance activities to ensure the local Information Systems landscape is running smoothly, focusing mainly around Blue Yonder WMS.
- You will create and update documentation of implemented and configured processes and systems, as well as track change logs for all changes.
- You will design and implement integrations between customer ERPs and other satellite systems to satisfy business needs and guarantee an efficient goods workflow.
- You will develop, implement, and deliver trainings to key users to support information systems learning and enable internal stakeholders to be independent with the usage of the tool.
- You will conduct continuous improvement activities related to local WMSs and other information systems tools to maximize their efficacy, fix actual and prevent potential issues, and consequently facilitate/accelerate goods workflow.
- You will provide Functional Requirements Specifications to developers related to new features required by WMS.
- 2 – 5 years' experience in a 3PL company, dedicated to WMS implementations.
- Proven track record of successful completion of projects related to information systems commissioning, software integration, calibration or troubleshooting.
- Deep knowledge and understanding of information systems as ERPs and WMSs applied in operational environments such as warehouses or production factories.
- Experience with metric-oriented and data analysis-based work environments characterized by the respect of strict SLAs and deadlines and ability to prioritize issues and tasks by using ticketing systems.
