At Eemaxx Investments BV, we are seeking a skilled Renewable Energy Project Manager to lead the development of large-scale utility renewable energy projects within the solar industry.
This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and ensuring projects align with both regulatory requirements and our long-term growth goals.
The ideal candidate possesses deep industry knowledge, strong project management skills, and a proven track record in large-scale energy project development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source, initiate, and lead the development of utility-scale renewable energy projects from conceptualization to commissioning.
- Coordinate feasibility studies, land acquisition, permitting, and other preliminary activities required to move projects forward.
- Work with internal teams (engineering, regulatory, legal, and finance) to navigate project development stages.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, local communities, landowners, investors, and technology partners.
- Collaborate with the finance team to model project costs, forecast returns, and assess risks.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economy, Engineering, Environmental Science, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in utility-scale renewable energy business development.
- Proven track record in developing and closing utility-scale energy projects.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, permitting processes, and compliance requirements for large-scale energy projects.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge and experience within the national market.
