SICIM SpA is a leading construction company with a rich history of delivering complex projects worldwide. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Instrumentation and Control Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and company/client specifications.
  • Assist in instrumentation engineering activities on projects and tenders under the direction of the project engineering manager.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to achieve project goals.
  • Implement process engineering activities safely, effectively, and successfully within budget and schedule requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a good knowledge of process measurements, relief/control/ESD valves, analysers, equipment protection systems, fire systems, and PLCs.
  • Support P&ID development and maintenance throughout each project phase.
  • Coordinate with process engineers to obtain process data for specifying tagged field instruments.
  • Handle instrumentation and control activities for mechanical packages, including dehydration, sweetening, produced water, and chemical injection.
  • Review and prepare E&I specifications, datasheets, calculations, load lists, schematics, functional diagrams, and interlock diagrams.
  • Review and prepare material requisitions, technical bid evaluations, and vendor drawings.
  • Participate in Hazop, SIL, and design reviews.
  • Review and prepare materials take-offs and bill of materials when required.
  • Document changes with approval from the project engineering manager.
  • Review 2D drawings, including hook-up drawings, loop drawings, block drawings, JB drawings, area classification, cable schedules, drum schedules, cable routing, instrument location drawings, F&G layouts, and control room drawings, in accordance with client specifications.
  • Identify risks and opportunities.
  • Establish good working relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
  • Undertake other general duties as requested.

Requirements:

  • Minimum technical diploma in engineering with at least 8-10 years of design experience in an engineering consultancy/EPC company working on industrial plants.
  • Good experience in 2D and 3D drawing preparation, with proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent software.
  • Multi-discipline exposure is required.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.
