Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Machinery Safety Specialist - ATEX and PED for a prominent client in the TIC sector and engineering services. The main objective is to assist our customer in demanding Machinery Safety, ATEX, and PED projects in Italy and worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments of product conformity according to ATEX, PED, and Machinery Directives and related harmonized standards.
  • Autonomously conduct verification and documentation review activities.
  • Prepare test plans in accordance with European EN and international IEC standards.
  • Manage work assignments up to report and certificate issuance.
  • Interface with the customer.
  • Stay updated on new technical standards and developments in machinery safety practices and technologies.
  • Conduct measurements and testing using certified and validated toolchains and calibrated measuring instruments.
  • Assess technical file documentation, including drawings, P&Id, hydraulic, and electrical schematics.
  • Draw up assessment reports.
RequirementsEducational and Professional Qualifications
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Automation, with confirmed analytical competences.
  • Experience in product or quality system conformity audits.
  • Ability to manage several projects.
  • Experience in risk and safety analysis (Risk analysis, FMEA, SIL, PL) and knowledge of the IECEx scheme.
  • Experience with the use of measuring instruments and ability to read schematics.
Other Requirements
  • Two+ years' experience in a technical department with regulatory compliance orientation, preferably at certified organizations.
  • Dynamic and self-starting personality.
  • Willingsness to manage relationships in a growing project.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Ready to work in a dynamic environment with a spirit of entrepreneurship.
  • Curious, passionate, ready to grow and acquire new competences.
  • Available to travel to our Testing Lab in Alessandria and also to Customer premises when required.
Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this position is between €60,000 and €80,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
