We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automation Manager to join our team at Luxottica's Operations Headquarters in Agordo, Italy.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate a team of engineers to manage projects related to automatic machines, from development to implementation.
- Define business plans for new automatic machines and modifications to existing ones to achieve economic benefits for the plant.
- Monitor project timelines, KPIs, and technical performances to ensure successful project delivery.
- Improve efficiency and propose new solutions for automation of production flow.
- Manage and lead project teams with external suppliers and Luxottica plants from other regions.
- Select and develop new automation and equipment suppliers in accordance with purchasing policies and strategies.
- 5-6 years of experience in project management for industrial automation and robotics projects.
- Strong facilitation and communication skills to present information to all levels of the organization.
- Ability to analyze and manage KPIs for performance monitoring of automatic machines.
- Fluency in Italian and English.
- Availability to move abroad if required.
