Operations Manager

Bunge is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our operations, ensuring that we meet our quality, quantity, and cost targets.

• Manage the storage of raw materials and finished products, ensuring that they are stored in a safe and secure manner.
• Collaborate with traders to maximize commercial opportunities, in relation to the storage of goods.
• Define a weekly plan of activities related to the area of interest with the Maintenance department.
• Coordinate the quarterly inventory of raw materials.
• Coordinate all operations related to the loading and unloading of ships in the dock.
• Agree with the Plant department on the correct functioning of collateral activities to the flow of goods.
• Direct and coordinate the activities of the department to achieve quality, quantity, cost, and continuous improvement targets.
• Develop and monitor action plans and functional analyses to support business and evaluate the feasibility of new projects.
• Facilitate inter-area communication with other departments.
• Maintain up-to-date operational documentation of the department.
• Implement, monitor, and report on compliance with legislation on food safety, hygiene, and quality of the product, prevention of workplace risks.
• Manage, coordinate, and activate growth plans for department personnel.
• Manage and coordinate third-party companies for loading, unloading, and cleaning operations.
• Member of the HACCP team: participate in HACCP meetings and support HACCP system maintenance.

• Studies in Industrial Technical Engineering or Management or similar.
• Technical background required.
• At least two years of experience in similar positions.
• Knowledge of measurement equipment (counters, levels, etc.).
• Computer skills at user level.
• Knowledge of food safety policies, product quality, and environment.
• Certified suitability for the role.
• Additional training: Master in Logistics or HACCP training.
• Additional experience: work in the food industry with knowledge of industrial processes and logistics.
• Experience with solid handling equipment.
