Civil Engineering Associate
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Associate to join our team at EDPR ITALIA HOLDING SRL. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for collaborating in the development of engineering designs for wind farms, PV plants, and substations.
Main Responsibilities
- Engineering Management: Collaborate with the project manager to ensure the development of engineering designs in the different stages: pre-design, basic, executive, and tender project. Supervise the technical feasibility of these designs, ensuring compliance with EDPR technical standards and project-specific conditions.
- Engineering Specialized Support: Support the elaboration of specifications for basic and executive projects, ensuring technical adequacy and compliance with EDPR standards. Provide specialized technical support in tender processes and assist E&C teams in the adjudication negotiation to guarantee the best technical-economic conditions.
- Studies Coordination: Coordinate and validate with other technical support units the execution of specific key studies for integration in the engineering project, minimizing the risk associated with the construction process.
- Providers and Supplier Management: Establish relationships with main suppliers and providers to include the most efficient technical and economical options in engineering designs.
- Common Standards: Ensure the application of common standards in studies and projects, supervising adaptation to applicable local regulation to avoid non-justified deviations and maximize investment efficiency.
- Company Policy and Legal Compliance: Understand and apply policies to prevent occupational hazards, environment, and quality to ensure implementation and compliance on tasks under responsibility.
- EDPR Interests Representations: Represent EDPR to agencies and institutions, public and private, in matters relating to its jurisdiction to enforce the interests of EDPR.
Required Profile
- Academic Level: Minimum Engineering Degree / Recommended Engineering Master Degree
- Required Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years. Minimum of 5 years with experience in design and/or redaction and/or revision of different kind of projects for wind farms, PV Plants, substations, and high-voltage lines.
- Specific Knowledge: Civil Expertise in Wind Farm Design (mandatory). Normative and regulations. AutoCAD Civil 3D (mandatory). Infraworks (recommended). Excel Intermediate.
- LANGUAGES: Italian (mandatory). English (mandatory). Spanish.
- Skills / Competences: Proactive. Critical Thinking and Problem Solving. Quantitative Reasoning. Teamwork. Plan, Organize, and Prioritize.
