Cloud Development Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Development Specialist to join our team at Prysmian Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, software development projects, and a passion for delivering innovative solutions using cutting-edge technologies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop Cloud-Based Applications: Design, develop, and deploy scalable and reliable cloud-based applications and services to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define architecture, and implement solutions.
  • Utilize Cloud Computing Technologies: Utilize cloud computing technologies and platforms such as AWS, Azure to optimize application performance and scalability.
  • Implement Best Practices: Implement best practices for security, monitoring, and performance optimization in cloud environments.
  • Work with DevOps Teams: Work closely with DevOps teams to automate deployment processes and ensure continuous integration and delivery.
  • Provide Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers on cloud development best practices.
  • Stay Up-to-Date: Stay up to date with emerging cloud technologies, industry trends, and recommend new tools and techniques to enhance our development processes.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: 3 years of proven experience in software development with a focus on cloud-based solutions (Low Code and No Code too).
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or C#.
  • Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure.
  • Cloud Computing Concepts: Solid understanding of cloud computing concepts, including infrastructure as code, microservices architecture, and serverless computing.
  • Containerization Technologies: Familiarity with containerization technologies.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
