Job Overview:

Frette seeks a seasoned merchandising expert to lead product planning and strategy across EMEA. This role drives sales, inventory, and profitability goals in retail and e-commerce channels.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create merchandise plans that align with the Brand strategy and support sales, inventory, and profitability goals.\
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to launch new products, develop assortment strategies, and analyze performance data.\
  • Build and manage product assortment plans to meet sales and inventory targets.\
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of home product pricing dynamics, including brand prestige, materials, craftsmanship, and market demand.\
  • Partner with marketing and visual merchandising teams to create product launch cadences and ensure product allocations and presentation align with the Brand strategy.\
  • Develop action plans with commercial sales teams to achieve sales and inventory goals.\
  • Conduct product training with sales team members upon new launches and rollouts.\
  • Analyze data to track performance, identify trends, and areas for improvement, and create comprehensive action plans.\
  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date on fabric and design trends, customer preferences, and distribution channels.\
  • Communicate sales results, forecasts, and action plans to management and cross-functional teams.\
  • Support B2C businesses in ad-hoc buying and planning analysis.\
  • Participate in strategic projects with management and cross-functional departments as needed.\

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • \
  • Minimum 7 years of merchandising/buying & planning experience within luxury brands.\
  • Strong merchant and analytical skills.\
  • Comfortable with handling risk and uncertainty.\
  • Self-starter with ability to demonstrate logical analysis and problem-solving skills independently.\
  • Flexible with ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\
  • Advanced functional knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required.\
  • Knowledge and understanding of retail math.\
  • Team-oriented.\
  • Accuracy in data reporting and entry.\
  • Strong and effective communication skills, verbal and written.\
  • Proficient Italian and English language required.\
