Job Title: Mathematics Teacher

Como Secondary College is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our team. As a Mathematics Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to students in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons to students in Years 7-12
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs and abilities
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to improve student outcomes
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum programs and resources
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and stay up-to-date with curriculum changes
Requirements:
  • Relevant teaching qualifications and experience in mathematics education
  • Strong knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and Assessment Framework
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement
